St. Patrick's Cathedral is undoubtedly one of the most iconic old buildings in New York. This holy site, which occupies an entire Manhattan city block, is also the largest Gothic Catholic cathedral in the United States.
Admission to the cathedral is free. However, if you want to learn about the history and discover all the hidden details of this religious building at your own pace, our audioguide tour is the perfect way to do it.
Although you'll have as much time as you like inside the cathedral, we recommend allowing between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes to explore all its nooks and crannies. These are numerous, as St. Patrick's Cathedral has 21 altars and 19 bells.
Make sure to look at the main altar, the beautiful stained glass windows and the famous Pietà sculpture. This impressive and moving sculpture is 3 times the size of Michaelangelo's sculpture in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
You can visit St. Patrick's Cathedral Monday through Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Although you may be asked to select a specific date when making your reservation, you can use your ticket with the audio guide on any day you choose.
