Tour Options
During the booking process, you'll be able to choose between the following options. All start at the Molo Margherita quay in Monopoli and include an English-speaking skipper and an aperitif.
2.5-Hour Tour
At the designated time, we'll set sail from Monopoli on this private tour, leaving behind this ancient seaside village surrounded by towering walls towards the enchanting sea caves in Polignano a Mare.
Aboard our traditional Italian fishing boat equipped with a shower, solarium, and sunshade, we'll visit the famous Grotta Palazzese, which houses an exclusive restaurant inside. Here we'll also find Lama Monachile, a renowned natural cove with a pebble beach, where the Red Bull Cliff Diving competition takes place each year.
We'll continue sailing until reaching the Isola di Hermit (Hermit Island), a place of mystery and legends, as well as a popular nesting spot for Corsican Seagulls. Once here, we'll also see other famous caves such as the Grotta degli Innamorati (Cave of Lovers) and the Grotta dell'Ardito (Cave of the Brave).
During our journey, we'll have a 30-minute stop to take a dip in the turquoise waters of Polignano a Mare. Afterwards, back onboard, we'll raise a toast with a glass of prosecco paired with taralli, focaccia, and olives.
Lastly, after a total of 2.5 hours, we'll return to our original meeting point.
5-Hour Tour
If you select this tour option, we'll follow the same itinerary described above, but we'll instead take a 1-hour break to take a dip in the sea. Additionally, we'll spend more time taking in all that Polignano has to offer.
