At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Marmaris and head towards Akyaka. Ready for a day full of nature and history? Here we go!
Before arriving in this charming seaside village, we'll stop along the famous Lovers' Road. This road flanked by imposing eucalyptus trees creates a natural tunnel that offers some of the most romantic views. Get ready to take out your camera!
We'll continue the route until we reach a set of tombs carved into the rock, dating back to the Hellenistic period. Can you imagine the history that these ancient tombs hold? During the visit, we'll reveal all the secrets about these archaeological remains.
The next stop will take us to the Azmak River, where we'll enjoy a 25-minute boat ride. This riverbed is surrounded by lush vegetation and is home to various species of birds and fish. We'll sail through its calm, crystal clear waters while taking in the beauty of the surroundings—you'll love it!
After the crossing, we'll head to Yuvarlakçay, an area famous for its fresh water river and natural surroundings. Here you'll have some free time to relax by the river and even take a dip, so don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towel.
Before heading back, we'll stop at one of the traditional restaurants in the area to refuel with a riverside lunch.
Finally, we'll return to Marmaris and say goodbye at your hotel about 7 hours after pickup.
