Masterpieces of the Prado Museum

During our guided tour of the Prado Museum, we’ll stop in front of the main masterpieces of this Madrid art gallery:

The Garden of Earthly Delights: this early 16th-century work is the most famous triptych by Hieronymus Bosch. We’ll analyze all the secrets hidden in the panels of Eden, Hell, and the central scene. It’s a highly iconic painting, featured in numerous films and literary works such as The Master of the Prado, the famous novel by Javier Sierra.
Goya’s Black Paintings: throughout the tour, we’ll explore the different stages of the Aragonese painter, placing special emphasis on works such as Saturn Devouring His Son, The Witches’ Sabbath, and The Dog.
Las Meninas: this masterpiece by Diego Velázquez, officially titled The Family of Philip IV, is displayed in one of the largest rooms of the Prado, where we’ll uncover all the secrets of one of the most famous paintings in Spanish art.
