How to Get to the Lavender Fields of Brihuega from Madrid?
Our day begins with a pickup at the Hotel Mediodía Madrid, leaving the capital behind. From there, we'll take a journey of just 1.5 hours to the medieval town of Brihuega. Ready to enjoy a unique natural spectacle in La Alcarria?
As soon as you step off the bus, you'll feel how the town has embraced the occasion: we'll stroll through its streets decorated in shades of lavender, cross its 12th-century walls, and discover historic spots like its castle, the Royal Cloth Factory, and its mysterious Arab caves.
There, you’ll have plenty of time to savor the essence of the place in a very special way. You can do everything from tasting the surprising lavender craft beer to trying an ice cream with the same flavor or browsing the local craft stalls. You’ll find oils and other unique products derived from this plant packed with benefits!
We'll cap off the day in the late afternoon when we head to the lavender fields of Brihuega. By then, the sun's rays will be slanting in, highlighting the violet hues and creating a golden light perfect for capturing the best photos of the entire summer.
We’ll walk among the lavender flowers, enjoy the silence of nature, and experience a sunset over the lavender fields that we guarantee you'll never forget.
Finally, about 7 hours later, we'll be back at the starting point of the hike.
