Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Naval Museum in Madrid and leave the Spanish capital behind to start our journey toward the famous windmills of Consuegra.

We'll reach the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, and after a 1.5-hour drive, arrive at Consuegra, a charming town in the province of Toledo whose undeniable symbol is its windmills.

Once we arrive, it'll be impossible not to recall the adventures of Don Quixote in Miguel de Cervantes' masterpiece. To make this tour even more special, we'll visit the place where eight windmills of Consuegra stand. Did you know it's one of Spain's largest and best-conserved windmill complexes?

Plus, to learn more about the features and work that's done in the windmills, we'll enter one of them. It'll be quite interesting!

Around 1:30 pm, we'll leave Consuegra behind and head to Toledo. Once there, we'll cross the Alcántara Bridge to reach the Plaza de Zocodover.

Once we reach this square, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore Toledo at your own pace. We'll then regroup and head to the Mirador del Valle, where you'll have the chance to enjoy one of the city's best views.

We'll conclude our day trip by returning to the starting point in Madrid after 10 hours.
