Come and taste the flavours around Lyon with this Rhone Valley Wine & Cheese Tasting. Discover delicious local products!
We'll meet in front of the Lyon Tourist Office at 2 pm. From there, you'll board a minibus to discover the Rhône Valley and its delicious wines and cheeses. The route will take you through the legendary Côte-Rôtie and the Pilat Regional Nature Park, home to some of the oldest vineyards in France.
After a 30-minute drive, we'll arrive at a typical farm in the park, where you can meet a goat cheese producer. You'll then begin a pleasant walk through the farm, meeting the goats... And the delicious cheeses they produce!
After filling up with cheese, we'll take you to a nearby winery, so that you can taste them with a little wine. You'll enjoy a tasting of 5 local wines, accompanied by different cheeses to match each wine. The greatest appellations of our area: Côte-rôtie, Condrieu, and Saint-Joseph will know how to bring your taste buds to the boil!
The visit will end by returning to the Lyon Tourist Office, Place Bellecour at around 6 pm.
