Salina Excursion
We'll meet 45 minutes before the indicated time at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari, where a boat will be waiting to take us on an unforgettable journey through the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
First, we'll skirt the coast of Lipari, enjoying beautiful views of Canneto Bay and its beaches until we reach the small village of Acquacalda at the northern tip of the island. From here we'll be able to start making out Salina in the distance, an absolute treat for the eyes!
Before docking, we'll enjoy a pleasant boat ride around Salina, the second-largest of the Aeolian Islands. You'll get to see the coast of Capo Faro, the village of Malfa, the cliffs that stretch along the beach of Pollara, the small fishing village of Lingua and many other picture-perfect sights.
Once we've made our way around the island, we'll stop in Santa Marina Salina and leave you two hours of free time to have lunch and explore the area. Enjoy incredible views of Mount Fossa delle Felci, the highest peak of the Aeolian Islands standing at 962 meters (3156 ft) tall. You can also take the opportunity to visit the 18-century village church or simply let yourself be captivated by the quaint alleys of the historic center.
After two hours of free time, we'll return to the boat and head back to the port of origin, where we'll arrive 9 hours after the start of the tour.
