They say that seeing the Northern Lights is a unique experience that you'll remember for the rest of your life. Make the most of your trip to Finland and enjoy this magical natural phenomenon by booking this tour from Levi. You'll be fascinated!
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Levi to go hunting for the Northern Lights. Before setting off, we'll discuss the weather conditions, solar activity forecasts and the planned route, which will depend on the sky conditions. If necessary, we can travel even further than 100 km (62 mi) to increase the chances of sightings.
As we leave the city centre behind, we'll explain this natural phenomenon that everyone dreams of seeing at least once in their lifetime. We'll also give you practical tips on how to set up your cameras to capture the magic of the Northern Lights.
During the tour, we'll visit between 2 and 3 different locations, all selected for their photographic potential and absence of light pollution. The darkness of the Finnish night will be our best ally in enjoying this spectacle of light and colour. It's a moment that will remain in your memory forever!
In the areas chosen for viewing, we'll take out our cameras, set up our tripods and get ready for the show. While we wait for the lights to appear, we'll fight the cold with the warmth of a barbecue. You can enjoy pork, turkey or vegetarian sausages, accompanied by a hot red fruit drink.
While you enjoy this magical natural phenomenon, the guide will take photos of you with the Northern Lights dancing above your heads. It will be an unforgettable memory that you can take home with you to remember this unique experience.
After admiring the Northern Lights, we'll get back on the minibus and return to the starting point in Levi, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 4 hours.
Pickup Info
This tour only includes pickup from accommodations located outside the centre of Levi, but within a 10 km (6.2 mi) radius of it. If you're staying in the centre, you must make your own way to the meeting point at Myllyjoentie 2.
