What to See at Poema del Mar?

Poema del Mar is located only 200 meters from Playa de las Canteras. This modern aquarium houses over 350 different species from all over the world. Inside the enclosure you will find ecosystems from all over the planet and admire animals that live inside and outside the water.

Start the tour of the aquarium at The Jungle, an area full of flora and fauna from the five continents. Next, walk to Arrecife, an enormous tank with over 400,000 liters of sea water full of colorful reefs and exotic fish.

Lastly, in Deep Sea you’ll marvel at the depth of the Ocean through the largest curved glass in the world. The tank is home to numerous sharks, tunas, stingrays and other dangerous predators that live off the coasts of Gran Canaria.
