At your chosen time, we'll meet at a central point in Las Negras. From there, we'll begin a tour that will take us through the history of old mines and farmhouses, and along endless beaches. Welcome to the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park!
For a more unique experience, we'll hop into an off-roading vehicle and travel to our first stop. We'll drive along old, now-closed roads to delve into the heart of this natural gem of Almería while we tell you about its flora and fauna. If we're lucky, we might even spot reptiles, amphibians, and many other animals that have adapted to this arid terrain.
Along the way, we'll pass by several abandoned farmhouses where time seems to have stood still. We'll then arrive at Cortijo del Fraile, a must-see stop due to its strategic and commercial importance in the past. Do you know what events marked the dark history of this place? Our off-roading tour will continue through Cabo de Gata, passing by the gold mines of Rodalquilar and the processing plant, remnants of an important industrial revolution that forever changed the landscape and history of the region.
After 2.5 hours of exploring the history and natural beauty of this area, we'll return to the meeting point.
