Did you know Campo Elíseo is the only winery in the Rueda D.O. that ferments its white wines in underground galleries from the 17th century? And that they only harvest the white grapes by hand during the day? Welcome to this historic winery in the province of Valladolid!
Located in La Seca, Bodegas Campo Elíseo is the perfect combination of a journey into the past and a refreshing look into the future regarding the history of wine. Here, the land serves a fundamental purpose within the winemaking tradition of the winery.
Campo Elíseo has recovered the underground galleries of the 17th century to produce wines 10 meters (39 feet) underground, thanks to the discovery of Francois Lurton in the 90s. This space has optimal climatic conditions for producing excellent quality organic wines.
Visiting these wineries of La Seca, we'll learn all about the on-site products, marked by the spirit of its house, the underground cellars, and its vineyards. Additionally, its owners produce a small but exquisite production of only 170,000 bottles per year.

With this option, we'll visit the historic house of the 17th century, where the underground cellars are located more than 10 meters (39 feet) deep. In addition to this exclusive space, we'll also visit the Campo Elíseo Cellars. Then, the moment we've all been waiting for, we'll taste three wines from the Lurton Brothers range.
If you choose this option, we'll first visit the Campo Eliseo vineyards, which is the perfect place to learn about the winemaking process from the first steps. Afterward, we'll go to the historic manor house and discover the secrets of the underground cellars.
To wrap up the tour, we'll indulge in a tasting of 3 wines of the Curvée Alegre range paired with a sampling of cheeses.
If you want to taste more wines from this winery, this option is ideal for you. In addition to touring the vineyards, the historic house, and its cellars, at the end of the tour, we'll participate in a tasting of 5 wines from the Campo Elíseo range paired with Iberian ham.
