Coffee and Tropical Fruit Farm Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Diseminado Rio Jate Pol, just 5 km from the center of La Herradura. There, we'll find the coffee and tropical fruit farm that we'll explore.

First, we'll start at the farmhouse, whose origins date back 300 years. We'll learn about the history of this place and then walk through the plantations.

We'll see the plants of custard apples, avocados, red bananas, macadamia nuts, mangos, pitayas, passion fruit, and many other fruits. As we walk through the plantations, the guide will explain why the climate of this area is so favorable for these crops and learn how the plants are cared for. We'll also talk about the importance of sugar cane in Almuñécar.

Next, we'll visit the only coffee plantation in Europe. With a little luck, we might even see some animals, such as chameleons, partridges, mountain goats, and eagles while touring the farms! Then, as the finishing touch, we'll have a delicious fruit tasting.

After 1.5 hours of exploring, we'll end the tour of this farm in La Herradura. If you wish, you can buy fruit directly from the tree to take it home!
