Would you like to discover two of the hidden gems of Kotor Bay? On this boat tour, we’ll take you to visit the island of Our Lady of the Rocks and the charming village of Perast.
Perast & Our Lady of the Rocks Boat Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the port of Kotor, specifically at Park Slobode No. 1, where we'll board the boat to set out on a cruise through the turquoise waters of Montenegro.
During the cruise, we'll admire the small villages nestled along the shores of the Adriatic Sea, such as Orahovac and Dobrota.
After this pleasant cruise, we'll arrive at the island of Our Lady of the Rocks, a small artificial islet crowned by a Byzantine sanctuary. We'll discover the history of this temple and its connection to the term felsenwerfens. Do you know what that is? We'll find out as soon as we arrive!
Afterward, we’ll set course for Perast, a charming little fishing village. We’ll disembark and spend half an hour visiting some of its most notable religious monuments, such as the Church of St. George, which dates back to the 12th century and is located on an islet off the coast of the town. We’ll also admire the Church of Sveti Nikola, built between the 15th and 17th centuries—a true architectural gem. This small village of just 400 residents is a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Finally, we'll board the boat again and return to the port of Kotor, where our 1.5-hour boat tour will come to an end.
