Once we've picked you up from your hotel in Kanab, we'll set off for the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Don't forget your camera!
When we get there, we'll start a guided tour of the Grand Staircase-Escalante and its incredible scenery. We'll admire this unique place, which is one of the most picturesque and unusual areas in the Colorado Plateau. During our tour, we'll make several stops to see its main spots. These include Grosvenor Arch, Cottonwood Narrows and Hackberry Canyon.
As we take in the scenery, we'll learn all about this protected area. This area, which spans almost 2 million acres and encompasses much of southwestern Utah's desert, is full of streams, monoliths, slot canyons and fossils. Did you know that previously unknown species of dinosaurs have been found here?
To round off our tour of the Grand Staircase-Escalante, we'll walk along the different white, grey and vermillion-coloured cliffs that make up the national monument.
We'll then return to your hotel in Kanab and drop you off at your hotel after 7 hours of fun.
