Food Tour of Istria
After picking you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, we'll start our food tour of Istria, the ideal activity for foodies wanting to taste the cuisines of Croatia.
We'll cross the border from Slovenia into Croatia and head to the first stop of our food tour: the tiny town of Hum. As we stroll through its streets, we'll discover the charm of this enchanting Croatian village and learn about biska, a typical local brandy made with spices - it's delicious!
We'll then return to the minibus and head to the charming village of Motovun. We'll explore its old town, visiting the Church of St. Stephen and hearing all about the white truffles grown in the forests of Motovun. We'll also learn how to prepare a dish with this precious product before later tasting it in a local restaurant.
Having left Motovum, we'll head to the last stop of the day, Grožnjan. In this village, we will discover a great tradition of olive and wine production while strolling through its streets.
Our food tour of Istria will come to an end back at your hotel in Izola at 5 pm.
