Tour Details
Our journey begins with a guided walking through the historic center of Genoa. We'll meet next to the tourist information office located on via Garibaldi. From here, we'll head to the nearby Piazza San Lorenzo, to admire the beautiful exterior facade of Genoa cathedral. Did you know that its two front towers are not the same height?
Just behind the temple, we'll encounter another iconic landmark of Genoa, the Doge's Palace. After appreciating the details of its elegant exterior architecture, we'll continue our walk to the Carlo Felice Theatre: the principle Opera House of Genoa. Standing in front of its magnificent neoclassical entrance, you will hear all about the most successful performances staged at this prestigious venue.
The walking tour ends on Via Garibaldi, the street where you will find the fabulous Strada Nuova museums.
