We'll pick you up from your hotel in Didim and begin our journey northward, making our way towards the outskirts of Kusadasi.
Following a short 45-minute drive, we'll reach the House of the Virgin Mary. The traditional belief is that the apostle St. John brought the mother of Jesus Christ to this sacred site after the crucifixion of his son. Join us for a guided tour of this profoundly significant location, cherished as a place of great devotion for Christians.
Continuing our tour, we'll head to the ancient Greco-Roman city of Ephesus. Designated as a World Heritage Site, we'll explore this remarkable archaeological site alongside our knowledgeable guide. Over the course of two hours, we'll visit highlights such as the Library of Celsus, a true gem among the treasures of western Turkey!
While in Ephesus, we'll uncover other important remnants, including the remains of the Odeon and the theater. Our journey will lead us to the Fountain of Trajan, a tribute to the first Hispanic emperor of the Roman Empire. Additionally, Ephesus pays homage to Hadrian, his successor, with a dedicated monument.
Leaving this awe-inspiring archaeological site behind, we'll make our way to a local restaurant, so you can enjoy lunch at your leisure. Post-lunch, our adventure continues with a visit to a handicraft center, followed by a stop in front of the Temple of Artemis, where we'll delve into more intriguing history.
