Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll meet at number 21 of Avenue Hassan II to begin this food tour of the magical city of Chefchaouen.
Throughout the tour, we'll walk through its characteristic blue streets, where we'll see emblematic places like the Ras El Maa (the legendary water fountain of the city), the Medina and its lively souks.
What's more, during the walk we'll stop at several street stalls and other establishments to sample various Moroccan dishes. Along the way, we'll indulge in sweet almond cream amlou spread, honey and argan oil, plus either kalinti or bissara, two savory recipes from the north of the country.
Then, we'll continue this walking tour of Chefchaouen visiting other well-known spots in the city such as the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter, the Place El Haouta or the Souika, one of the oldest shopping streets of the town. Plus, we'll continue tasting different local specialties such as traditional Moroccan bread, and a selection of the best pastries of the country and a traditional tea.
Finally, we'll pass by the Place Outa El Hammam, the heart of Chefchaouen, as we walk through the Kasbah and see the Great Mosque from the outside. After between a 2 and 2.5-hour walking tour, we'll bring the experience to an end at a central point in town.
