Calle Real, Plaza del Rey, Cala Cortina… On this electric bicycle tour of Cartagena, we'll explore the main spots of one of the most beautiful cities in Murcia on two wheels.
At the designated time, we'll begin this electric bike tour of Cartagena from the Real Club de Regatas, located in the city's port.
From this spot right next to the cruise terminal, we'll set off on our e-bikes towards Cala Cortina. This cove is one of the most beautiful banks of sand in Cartagena! We're sure you'll be amazed by this beach, as it's considered one of the most authentic hidden gems in this area of the Murcian coastline.
Next, we'll cycle down the seafront promenade in search of the Naval Museum of Cartagena. Although we won't go inside, we'll discuss some of the stories linked to the pieces housed in its permanent exhibition. The electric bicycle tour will then continue down Calle Real.
From this emblematic street, we'll head towards Plaza del Rey, next to which we'll see the Cartagena Naval Base Gate. After getting to know its history, we'll head to Cartagena's historical centre. We'll pass the Plaza de España, the Basilica de la Caridad (basilica of Charity), and the Casa de la Fortuna (the House of Fortune).
Our next stop will be at Plaza San Francisco. Close by, we'll cycle in front of the Gran Hotel and Cartagena's Roman Theatre. This final landmark is an important symbol of the city!
Lastly, we'll admire the Naval Hospital's impressive facade and, after a total of 2 hours, we'll conclude this tour back at our original meeting point in the port.
