Want to experience Punta de São Lourenço from a different angle? On this tour from Caniçal, we'll enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, and speedboat sailing - the perfect way to explore every inch of this nature reserve!

Ponta de São Lourenço + Kayaking & Snorkeling Tour

At 11 am, we'll meet at Quinta do Lorde Marina in Caniçal, from where we'll embark on a very extensive tour of Ponta de São Lourenço.

First, we'll cruise the crystal clear waters along the coast of Caniçal aboard a speedboat to reach the Natural Reserve of Ponta de São Lourenço. The reserve is located on a peninsula at the very end of Eastern Madeira, known for its volcanic formations and steep cliffs.

After arriving at our destination, we'll swap the speedboat for a kayak. We'll gear up and, after a brief instruction, we'll get into the kayaks and paddle to discover the landscapes Abra Bay and its sea caves have to offer.

The two-hour-long activity will allow us to admire this peninsula from a different angle and, also, to unwind as we let the Atlantic waves wash over us.

Then, back on dry land, we'll put on our snorkeling goggles and you'll have two hours of free time to explore the seabed of Ponta de São Lourenço. Octopus, starfish, triggerfish, and corals await you in the crystal clear waters of Madeira.

Next after this fun snorkeling experience, we'll enjoy a delicious sandwich and a drink to refuel. As the perfect finishing touch to the tour, we'll travel to the far end of Punta San Lorenzo to see the famous lighthouse.

Lastly, we'll return to the starting point in Caniçal at 5.30 pm, ending the activity.
