What is the Berlin WelcomeCard?

The Berlin WelcomeCard is a digital tourist pass that includes discounts at museums and attractions in Berlin, as well as unlimited access to public transport in the German capital.

After making your reservation, you will receive a PDF with a QR code that will serve as your tourist card, which you'll need to present at the various museums, attractions, and on public transport.

Card Discounts

As well as transport, the Berlin WelcomeCard includes discounts of up to 50% on the main attractions of Berlin. This includes:

Berlin Cathedral
Television Tower
Charlottenburg Palace
Checkpoint Charlie Museum
DDR Museum
Madame Tussauds Berlin
Deutsches Technikmuseum
Sanssouci Palace
Currywurst Museum

It also includes discounts for many attractions, shows, stores, and restaurants. You can download the catalog of all the attractions included at this link.

Also, keep in mind that some of the museums might require or recommend making a reservation.

Unlimited Public Transport

The Berlin WelcomeCard also includes unlimited travel on all subways (U-Bahn), commuter trains (S-Bahn), and buses in the German capital and its surrounding cities.

During the booking process, you can choose between different transport zones:

AB Zone: includes only the city limits of Berlin
ABC Zone: includes the city limits of Berlin and Potsdam (including Berlin-Schönefeld Airport and Berlin Brandenburg Airport)

Each Berlin WelcomeCard allows one adult and up to three children aged 6 to 14 to use public transport.

Depending on the zone you book, your Berlin WelcomeCard will be valid for the following periods:

Berlin Brandenburg Airport: Terminal 1, Level E0. Daily, from 9 am to 9 pm, except on Mondays and Thursdays, when it closes at 5:30 pm.
Berlin Train Station: Daily, from 9 am to 7 pm.
Humboldt Forum: Gate 4, Schlüterhof. Daily, from 10 to 6 pm.
Brandenburg Gate: Daily, from 10 am to 6 pm.
