Bari Food Tour

Having met up at the meeting point at the hour of your choosing our gastronomic tour of Bari will begin. Hope you're hungry! Explore the historic centre, passing by the Basilica di San Nicola, the San Sabino Cathedral and the imposing Castello Svevo, where your guide will reveal the castle's fascinating history.

Following our tour of the old town, we'll make a stop at a panificio, a traditional bakery famous for the typical focaccia barese is baked. After tasting a piece of this mouth-watering Italian bread, we'll next visit a salumeria to sample the meats and cheeses of this region of Apulia.

We'll continue our food tour onwards through Bari, strolling amongst the street food stalls around the city. We'll be able to taste scagliozze, fried polenta pancakes, or the ever-popular panzerottis, a type of turnover pastry!

Finally, it wouldn't be an Italian food tour without a gelato! We'll visit a local gelateria, where we'll find flavours to suit every taste.

Then, at the end of your 3-hour food tour of Bari, we'll say goodbye on the seafront promenade.
