The artist himself conceived the Joan Miró Foundation with the aim of creating in Barcelona an international point of reference where you can enjoy his work and continue researching contemporary art.
The entrance to the Joan Miró Foundation will give you access to both the permanent and temporary exhibitions. You'll be able to see paintings, drawings, sculptures, and tapestries.
Landscape of Mont-Roig, The Passage of the Divine Bird, The White Glove, The Gold of the Azure or Personage in front of the Sun are some of the works by Miró that you'll be able to see during your visit. You'll also find paintings by other 20th and 21st century artists such as Max Ernst, Marcel Duchamp, André Masson or Antoni Tàpies. The artwork will blow you away!
Opening Hours
The opening hours of the Joan Miró Foundation are as follows:
- Tuesday - Saturday: 10 am - 8 pm
- Sundays: 10 am - 6 pm
Please note that you can visit at any time during the opening hours, but the last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
