Egyptian Museum of Barcelona Ticket
The Egyptian Museum of Barcelona (Museu Egipci de Barcelona), belonging to the Clos Archaeological Foundation, houses one of Spain's most outstanding collections on the time of the ancient pharaohs.
This collection is centered around the figure of the pharaoh, with incredible pieces like the statue of Ramesses III and the bust of Nectanebo I.
The tour continues with a room dedicated to jewelry, stonework and ceramics. There's also an area on cosmetics and eroticism in Ancient Egypt, where you can observe various pieces that display the attention the Egyptians paid to their bodies as well as their relationship with sexuality.
The next areas of the museum are related to death and religion, with rooms displaying different mummies, sarcophagi and funerary masks. You can also see a large collection of statues representing different gods.
With your ticket to the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona, you can also visit the temporary exhibitions, which complement and further enrich the permanent collection.
