On our PADI Open Water Diver Course in Almuñécar, we'll spend 4 days exploring Granada's Costa Tropical. You'll become an independent scuba diver and learn all the techniques necessary to enjoy this underwater sport.
Almuñécar PADI Open Water Diver Course
Discover the fascinating underwater world of the Costa Tropical on our PADI Open Water Diver course in Almuñécar. We'll carry out 9 dives over 4 days of learning. Let's go!
Days 1 & 2: Theory + Practice in confined water
For the first 2 days of the course, we'll receive theory lessons from the diving instructors at the centre on Paseo China Gorda in Almuñécar. We'll attend 5 theory classes, in which we'll learn the information we need to know to dive safely. In addition, we'll watch videos to help deepen our knowledge of the subject.
After doing a test, we'll carry out our first technical exercises in an area with calm and shallow water. This will be the perfect opportunity to put everything we've learned into practice in a safe environment.
Days 3 & 4: Dives in open water
On the third and fourth day of the course, we'll put everything we've learned to the test by doing 4 open water sessions. We'll do 4 dives down to a depth of 60 feet (18 metres).
If, at the end of the course, you've successfully completed all of the exercises, you'll receive your PADI Open Water Course certificate. Congratulations!
Important
- Before taking the course, you'll need to present a medical certificate stating that you're in optimum condition for this sport.
- After the activity, you must wait at least 24 hours before boarding a plane or going to high altitude areas.
